Steph has bugged me into creating a blog of our impending trip across the US, so here it is! We hope to keep it up to date as we travel and let you know where we are and some of the guffawing adventures we will no doubt have
We hope to leave around the 16th March and be away, well, for as long as it takes! We are looking to visit 36 of the 50 US states - the remaining 14 we have either visited already, are planning on visiting another time - or are a little difficult to get to by car (Hawaii?!)
As you can see we start off with a steady sweep across the US then make some rather crazy zig-zag style movements up and down to make sure we capture as many states as possible.
So..........let the planning begin, what to pack for such a journey??
That's one hell of a vacation! It's going to be great, I'm sure. Looking forward to reading about what you see and get up to.
ReplyDeleteI may be going to Camberley tomorrow, then Fleet and possibly visiting Aldershot on the way. Hmmm... my journey's not quite as awe inspiring, perhaps?

We will be taking a select few monkeys with us for the ride - we are having trials for them all to see which ones are up to the task.

ReplyDeleteIf you go to Colorado I've been told (I did not see it when I was there), that you should visit Vail Pass. One of my good friends went to school out there and said it is a must see!
