Day 19 - EARTHQUAKE!!!!

I think I must have disturbed the gods yesterday by discussing building structures designed to withstand earthquakes, as at 15:40 local time today a quake measuring 7.2 in magnitude hit just south of LA in north Mexico!

Fortunately for us the only thing we knew about it was when I just logged onto the internet and read about it on the news. It must have been when I was sleeping in the car and Steph was halfway through singing along to some oddball country song..........again (she really does think she is Dolly Parton!)

After one final wash of clothes this morning we left Matt's and headed up the Pacific Coast Highway towards San Fransisco. We made it about half way before the evening started setting in and also the weather - it was raining pretty hard. Luckily we managed to stop earlier on the road and take a couple of pics of the views we were seeing whilst driving along - very beautiful



If the weather is good tomorrow we will continue driving up the Pacific Coast Highway - if not it will be inland to a much quicker road and onto San Fran much faster!
