Day 20 - Highway to heaven....

We spent the entire day driving up the Pacific Coast Highway, or route 1. If you were to stop every time you saw an amazing view it would probably take you about a year to drive the 250 odd miles we drove today.

We stopped a few times and managed to snap the below shots of the coastline - very nice indeed.

We finally arrived in San Francisco at around 7pm and booked into a motel near the bay area. We have a whole day of sightseeing tomorrow then a visit to Alcatraz on Wednesday - can't wait!
